Play time

Part of our routine involves playing from about 9:30/10:00 to 12:00/1:00. Jeanna practices rolling over, kicking her mobile, baby blanket games and wrestling her stuffed animals. We also usually read a book.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving with family and friends. I kinda felt bad that we all had a great meal on Thursday but Jeanna missed out on her first Thanksgiving. So... Ken and I decided to give her a little rice cereal. I'm not sure if she liked it much, as she spit most of it out, however, she didn't pull away when we offered her additional bites.
pic. 1- Jeanna pulls Kelley's (Ken's sister) finger. Don't fall for it Jeanna!
pic. 2- Ken offers Jeanna her first bites of cereal.
Pic. 3- Jeanna commandeers the spoon. Not sure what she means by that.

More Green Blanket

I know it seems strange, but she really likes it. I'm so proud.

Jeanna hangs out

Last Friday Jeanna and I went down to visit Aunt Kimmy. On Sat. we did a bunch of shopping, but didn't forget to show our support for the bucks. On Sunday we hung out at home most of the day. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

The gifted and talented Misiak-Kacsh children

The VonTrapps have nothing on us. Jeanna seems to be growing by leaps and bounds and the boys are letting out their creative spirits.
pic.1- Jeanna pushes up to her elbows. THis girl is going to the 2020 olympics.
pic.2 - Jeanna wrestles with a lamb. I think the lamb won.
pic.3 - The boys' school had a fundraiser at Barnes and Noble which included performances by the choir and a poetry slam. Tony sang absolutely beautifully and even had a speaking part in the song "If I had a million dollars". Alex read a poem for the slam. THey're awesome.

She's growing up

Mommy's little girl is growing up. Jeanna has been holding her head up a lot better lately. She's also making all sorts of new sounds like: Ohh, eeeee, ahgoo, aheeee. As you can tell, she is very advanced.
Pic. 1- Jeanna gives mixed reviews on her first encounter with the bouncy chair

Jeanna's Baptized

Here are some pictures of Jeanna on her big day. Check out her dress. My grandma sewed it by hand from her own wedding vail. My mom and her 2 sisters wore it as well as all their kids (including me). Jeanna is the ninth child to wear it.

Jeanna meets her aunties Kelly & Cara

On Thursday evening, I visited Kelly & Tom at their home in Bexely. Cara was there and we ate a fabulous meal prepared by Kelly of Chicken, spinach and procciuto (spell) rolls, brussel sprouts and pasta. I had a great time. Thanks Kelly.
pic. 1- Cara holds her niece. Watch that pacifier!
pic. 2- After dinner, Kelly played with and held Jeanna the rest of hte evening. She had the magic touch, as Jeanna fell asleep in her arms. And no, there wasn't any alcohol involved.
